SYEDA TRAINING PROGRAMME

Model of Training

SYEDA uses a cascade training model that equips key professionals across priority sectors in South Yorkshire to share knowledge throughout their organisations or institutions accelerating reach and impact.

The aim of this approach is to not only offer early intervention and awareness but also to embed training fully within an organisation or institution, building expertise among a core staff team who can model best practice and act as champions for early intervention. This ensures sustainability by keeping the topic of eating disorders and disordered eating behaviours visible and relevant, helping to reduce shame and stigma and promote earlier identification and support for those at risk, ultimately creating a culture where concerns are recognised early and addressed with confidence and compassion.

Our training model adopts a tiered approach, offering different levels to meet the needs of a wide range of audiences.
