Sophie Jackson-Brooks

Training Assistant

I have a Primary PGCE and over a decade of experience within the education sector, including working as a primary school teacher, where I developed experience in creating inclusive learning environments and supporting the wellbeing and development of young people. Through my teaching experience, I developed a strong interest in the importance of emotional wellbeing and accessible support for children and families.

As a Training Assistant at SYEDA, I support the delivery and development of training that helps improve understanding of eating disorders across the education, healthcare, sports & fitness, and community sectors.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my little girl, family, and sausage dog.
