Education Worker
My role as Education Worker involves creating and delivering workshops with young people across South Yorkshire on topics around body image, self-esteem and disordered eating.
I have a BA Hons degree in Primary Teacher Training and a Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary relationship Studies (counselling). I have worked for charities for nearly 15 years mostly working with children and young people and more recently around self-esteem, mental health and wellbeing. I also work as a systemic family therapist outside of my work with SYEDA.
Outside of work I am a big creative and will learn any new crafty skill I can put my mind to such as macrame, crochet, painting, pottery and sewing! I also love cooking, baking and decorating my home including upcycling second hand furniture!
