Yoga classes at SYEDA

Yoga can provide a powerful healing space, a safe environment where we can learn to reconnect with the body, to safely process feelings and sustain through on-going stages of recovery.

The practice of moving consciously from the inside out can help to promote self esteem and a positive body image through the cultivation of non-judgment, confidence and self acceptance. This yoga is about feeling the body, reclaiming the body without judgment or criticism.

These are gentle classes suitable for everyone and every level of experience. Classes will be taught by Jo Hunt. Jo is fully qualified as a yoga instructor and in exercise referral and has a special interest in therapeutic yoga.

The classes are open to any service users who have already had an assessment with SYEDA. You are more than welcome to come and just give it a go, see if it feels right for you, there is no commitment to come every week.

How to book

Spaces are limited, and we will only be able to continue to offer the service if demand is there, so please do book in advance every week. You can book in using the form below, or by calling the office or emailing rosieo@syeda.org.uk
