Town Hall Lecture - Eating Disorders in Children & Young People
Syeda will be holding a lecture by two of Sheffield’s prominent eating disorder specialists who have graciously agreed to speak to selected guests on Wednesday, 14 September 2011. With thanks to the generosity of the Lord Mayor we are able to hold this event at Sheffield Town Hall. Light refreshments will be available and the event will be from 7.30pm – 9.30pm with an 8pm start.
Dr Moss is a Consultant Paediatrician at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, specialising in the care of children and young people with eating disorders. She is now teaching with Dasha Nichols on the Institute of Child Health’s Eating Disorders Course. Dr Ruth Dawson is a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Becton Centre for Children and Young People with responsibility for 14-18 year olds with eating disorders requiring in-patient care.
They will be giving a lecture on Eating Disorders in Children and Young People at 8.00pm followed by a question and answer session.
